On April 4, in celebration of Korea’s Arbor Day, employees from Hanil Cement’s Danyang Plant took part in a tree-planting event held in Sang-ri, Jeokseong-myeon, Danyang County.

The event, organized by the county to mark the 80th Arbor Day, was part of a broader campaign promoting carbon neutrality. Participants planted maple trees, a symbol of Danyang’s vibrant autumn scenery.

One participating employee shared, “By planting maple trees that represent Danyang in the fall, I was reminded of the importance of green resources in our everyday lives.”
